As someone who loves to try new restaurants and the ambiance people create through building unique menus and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, I always want to experience what new restaurants offer, so I chose Le Burger 4304. In March, I called my mom and said – I’m having a bad day, I need to get out of the house and go somewhere fun. I have a list of places to visit in the greater Minneapolis area, and I chose Le Burger 4304.
Le Burger is the latest brainchild from the creators of the huge hit Bachelor Farmer, which had the best huge, buttery soft popovers. RIP Bachelor Farmer.
What is the vibe at Le Burger restaurant?
The restaurant is light and open, with tables in the front where families were sitting and a bar in the center, where you could pick up your orders and desserts. In the back are tables and booths for two or more parties; however, there wasn’t an area for groups larger than six. The overall ambiance is French bistro meets retro vibes, with clean white tile backsplash, blue booths and pastel, mid-century modern furniture.
What should you order at Le Burger 4304?
I ordered “Le Royal,” a burger with Wagyu, seared foie gras, and black truffle aioli. This burger is super savory and salty, so it’s not recommended for those with sweet palates. However, I enjoyed it because I’ve never had a burger like it, and I found the combination of luxurious flavors delicious.
My mom ordered the “Le Poulet Buffle, ” which combines crispy chicken, espelette buffalo sauce, Ranch de Provence, bleu cheese crumbles, and pickled celery. She loved it but said it was a lot of sandwich for such a small bun. She said the chicken was fresh, and the Ranch de Provence was perfect.
We shared the pomme frites, which were super thin, crispy, salty, and delicious. To quote my mom, “These are the best fries I’ve ever had at a restaurant.” We shared a Pomegranate Lemoade, the perfect introduction to spring, with its fresh fruit and lemony bubbly taste.

How about dessert at Le Burger?
If you love ice cream, I recommend “La Framboise,” which is vanilla ice cream with raspberry purée and a hint of lavender drizzled with olive oil. As someone who loves vanilla ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, La Framboise ranks right up with some of the best desserts I’ve had in Minneapolis.
Would I recommend Le Burger for happy hour?
No, the parking in the area is limited, and there aren’t many opportunities to find a nearby parking spot during rush hour.
Can you bring your children to Le Burger?
Yes, of course you can! I would recommend bringing them for lunch on a weekend or for an early dinner. With limited seating and tables being so close to one another, there isn’t much room to move around. They also have cute kids’ menus for coloring and other sorts.
Would I go to Le Burger again?
I think I would go to Le Burger again! I would try a different entree, but I think I’d wait until I had friends in town to try new options.
Where else would I recommend eating?
If you love unique, shareable meals, I recommend Pizzeria Lola. The pizzas are delicious, and the ambiance is super cozy. There are also delicious restaurants like the Loop in St. Louis Park, with a large menu so anyone can find something to eat.
